Read that 17th century!

Why do people distrust trust western medicine? Yes, I am well aware that you don't trust western medicine, but that is not what this entry is about, especially since debating with you when I innately have the closing word is unfair. I am talking of a more sociological interpretation of the distrust of western medicine. Reading about the doctors of the seventeenth century and how many reputable figures spoke against them, including, sometimes, the doctors admitting their falsitude, makes me wonder how much of this has translated into our modern America(and if, when people quote them, they realize that these figures are talking about people who believed in the four humors.) Other reasons I am aware of include your argument against their lack of holism, the new-age beliefs, various quacks capitalizing on people under-educated in science, anti-European/American attitudes, ingrained beliefs in a traditional system of healing, medical quacks taking advantage of people who go to them, and outrageous pricing.
I can't seem to express the rest of what I want to say, so I am going to leave yet another blog entry unfinished. Yay!

The day of the election! What a wonderful, wonderful day. Though, this entry comes of vesort angsty, especially with the style of writing. I still stand by my statements regarding normal/perfect people, hehe. I also still stand by the second paragraph, though rewritten in better english. I was in a very bad mood, as you can probably imagine. I hope that you can feel the real emotion and sentiment in this, as it was not me and yet is me.
And yes, I made up a word in the first paragraph.
